Hailing from Biloxi, Mississippi, Rita is no stranger to hustling hard in the southeast business world. With 18 years of experience in consumer and business hospitality, she's made her mark on the region's tourism market. A believer in the power of education, Rita studied Business and Psychology at both the Universities of Southern Mississippi and New Orleans, with a certification for Restaurant Hospitality and Tourism from Florida Atlantic University.
Rita's heart for service shines through her work as Secretary of the Board for the Mississippi Center for Autism and Related Developmental Disabilities, as a volunteer for Jubilee Havens, an organization that advocates for the stop of human trafficking, and as Marketing Director for the MS Senior World Pageant.
